On the first tee, take care this hole looks straightforward. A dog-leg right, try to land your tee shot left of centre fairway, if your tee shot is to long or left, out of bounds lurks. Your second shot again seems simple but this green is almost a plateau and has bunkers protecting it, take care. From here you wind your way through pines and some very nice properties line the fairways, not too much to cause you problems but take care on the stroke index 11 3rd hole. This 3rd hole is all-uphill even the second shot is uphill. The 5th a par 3 needs a very accurate tee shot to the left side of the green, it may look a little daunting looking over the very deep valley. The tee shot is critical as the green slopes up from front to back, with a two-tear green. "Good Luck" On reaching the second nine it looks as if you can relax, take heed. The twelfth, used to be a par 4 but this is now a par 5, and has all the makings of a great hole. If you can draw a ball this is the time, with water down the left and bunkers protecting the right the draw is needed. From the tee you also have some very large trees at the side of the lake, and with the second you still have water and bunkers to contend with. That's not all, the approach to the green is very well protected with water and bunkers. The 17th is a relatively short par 3, that's if it was not for the water. This par 3 is almost Pinheiros's signature hole, a island green that is relatively small, and a most daunting hole indeed.
