The Sheraton Pine Cliffs designed by Martin Hawtree, is located between Vilamoura and Albufeira. Made famous by it's first president Nigel Mansell, also frequented by tour processionals during the winter break for the European Tour. Situated on the cliff top overlooking the ocean, it has some spectacular views.

 

The opening hole on this 9 hole course is a par 4, lined both sides by trees an accurate straight shot is in order, a solid short iron to the bunker guarded green should give you a starting par. Probably the most famous hole in the Algarve, Devil's Parlor. An elevated tee from the cliff top makes this hole one to remember, said to have taken thousands of years to build is one for the photograph album. With 155 meters to carry hitting the green gives you a sense of success and hopefully a par to go with it.

Not a course to hurry, just savour the mastery of the architect and this calm tranquil course.

An excellent way to sort out your short game.
